Chicken on a Stick

Is there any better way to eat chicken than off of a stick? These chicken kabobs are sweet and salty and great for kids big and small and the creamy dip with a kick is adds some great flavour too!

theingredients

2 chicken Breasts
Marinade 
3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
6 cloves of garlic, grated
Sauce
1/4 cup sweet Thai chilli sauce
1/2 tsp fish sauce
1 red thai chilli
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Juice of 1/2 lime
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

themethod

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl.  Place some aside and reserve for basting.
  2. Cut chicken into cubes.
  3. Place chicken into a non-reactive container and cover with the remaining marinade toss to coat. Place the chicken in the fridge for 2-4 hours.
  4. Make the sauce by combining the ingredients together, covering and resting in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  5. Remove the chicken and place on wooden skewers.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
  7. Oil the grill and cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side baste often.
  8. Remove and top with mayo and toasted sesame seeds.
  9. Enjoy!
